Celfocus launches volunteering platform
Celfocus introduces Volunteering Hub to centralise employee volunteering, streamline participation in social and environmental initiatives, and support a target of 650 volunteering hours by 2026.

|---Module:text|Size:Small---| PRESS RELEASE – Celfocus has launched the Volunteering Hub, a new corporate platform that structures and strengthens its approach to social responsibility by encouraging employee participation in initiatives with a direct impact on communities.

Integrated into the Acting with a Purpose programme, dedicated to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Social Responsibility, the Volunteering Hub has been created to promote a culture of active engagement across the organisation. The platform facilitates access to volunteering opportunities aligned with Celfocus’ strategic priorities. As a reflection of this commitment, the company has set a target of 650 volunteering hours by 2026.

The platform acts as a central access point to initiatives developed in partnership with external organisations. It enables employees to discover, track and take part in volunteering activities in a simple and streamlined way. Opportunities cover areas such as support for vulnerable communities, education, capacity-building and environmental sustainability, reflecting a broad approach aligned with today’s key social challenges.

Among the initiatives already planned are partnerships with Banco Alimentar and the Plantar uma Árvore Association. These projects stem from internal mobilisation and highlight the active role employees play in identifying and driving social and environmental causes.

To ensure consistency in the impact generated, Celfocus monitors indicators such as the number of participants, volunteering hours and initiatives delivered. This analysis is complemented by a qualitative assessment based on feedback from employees and partners. This approach makes it possible to measure not only the reach of the initiatives, but also the transformation created within both communities and teams.

With the launch of the Volunteering Hub, we are moving from occasional volunteering to a more structured, participative and measurable model. We centralise opportunities, simplify participation and track outcomes, enabling every employee to actively contribute to creating real impact in communities. The 650-hour target by 2026, during working hours, reflects this ambition: to generate social impact consistently, with focus and transparency.”

|---Module:text|Size:Small---| Celfocus intends to progressively expand the number of partners and initiatives, exploring new forms of volunteering such as knowledge-sharing and mentoring, and extending its impact across different geographies. The aim is to reinforce an integrated approach where technology, people and purpose contribute to a more inclusive and sustainable society.
