Sónia Vasconcelos joined Novabase group in 2007 to coordinate the implementation of an IT service management system. In the following years, she developed several projects in the field of innovation and organisational development. In 2014 she took over the leadership of the Compensation & Benefits unit in the Human Resources Department of Novabase group. After assuming the role of Head of People & Organization at Novabase, now comes the promotion to Head of People at Celfocus.
With a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, in the field of Telecommunications and Electronics, at Instituto Superior Técnico Lisboa, her vocation and work placed her in the path of Human Resources, an area in which she has successively surpassed herself. For Sónia Vasconcelos “the challenges closely related to people are immense and naturally diverse and complex. Solutions must feel simple and flexible. They must be designed thinking about people and for people, framed and at the service of an organisation’s purpose. This has been my motto and my source of energy and inspiration,” she states.
In her new role, Sónia Vasconcelos aims to find strategies for attracting and developing talent that best address and contribute to Celfocus’ objectives, promoting growth and individual appreciation, in an innovative, healthy, and collaborative environment. She will coordinate a team of around 60 people.
