|---Module:text|Size:Small---| PRESS RELEASE – Celfocus recently brought its employees together for an initiative combining wellbeing, team spirit and social responsibility. As part of the company’s summer event, the solidarity challenge invited everyone to walk, run, cycle or swim between 16 and 23 June, with a shared goal: turning kilometres into solidarity.
The initial target was 1,700 kilometres, equivalent to one kilometre per employee, but the initiative exceeded all expectations. In just one week, employees covered 2,173 kilometres, surpassing the target and contributing to a donation from Celfocus to Acreditar, an association that supports children and young people with cancer, as well as their families.
Beyond promoting physical activity, the challenge aimed to reinforce the importance of wellbeing as an integral part of the employee experience, while creating an opportunity to generate a positive impact in the community.
The initiative reflects Celfocus’s belief that healthy organisations are built through a culture that promotes participation, a sense of belonging and shared purpose.

This challenge shows that positive impact begins with the choices we make every day. The 2,100-plus kilometres covered represent far more than physical activity or a target exceeded. They represent a culture in which people participate, get involved and find purpose in what they do. When we create opportunities that promote wellbeing while contributing to important causes, we strengthen the bonds that unite our teams and increase the impact we can make in the community. This balance between performance, wellbeing and social responsibility is what we seek to cultivate at Celfocus.”
|---Module:text|Size:Small---| The initiative forms part of Celfocus’s social responsibility strategy and reinforces the company’s commitment to promoting a culture based on participation, volunteering and positive impact. For Celfocus, initiatives of this kind not only support important causes, but also strengthen connections between people, teams and the community, fostering an environment where wellbeing, human development and sustainable performance go hand in hand.
