PRESS RELEASE - Celfocus has launched an internal Artificial Intelligence training programme comprising a total of 2,880 hours, aimed at upskilling nearly 500 employees across the company. The initiative reinforces Celfocus’ AI First strategy and its evolution towards a model centred on Next-Gen Intelligence.
This programme is part of a broader transformation currently underway at Celfocus, focused on embedding Artificial Intelligence in a structured way throughout the entire solutions delivery lifecycle, from identifying needs, analysing and defining requirements, through to design, development, testing, validation, operations and continuous improvement. The objective is not merely to automate tasks or increase speed, but to create better conditions to understand complex contexts, make more informed decisions and turn data into actionable knowledge.
With more than 60 practical sessions, the initiative involves professionals from different areas, including project management, engineering, cloud, data, quality and delivery. The goal is to prepare teams to work with real tools, apply AI in concrete scenarios and evolve delivery practices towards more intelligent, collaborative and data-driven models.
Within this new AI First model, Celfocus professionals play a central role in orchestrating intelligent systems, taking responsibility for critical decisions related to architecture, solution design, governance, security, quality and validation. Artificial Intelligence acts as an amplifier of these decisions, supporting execution based on context, specifications and domain knowledge. In this context, skills such as critical thinking, industry expertise and decision-making capability become even more relevant in interpreting results, validating outputs and guiding impactful solutions.
|---Module:testimony|Size:Small|Name:Nuno Justino Santos|Position: AI Enablement Executive|Company:Celfocus---| Artificial Intelligence does not redefine value solely through what it automates, but through the capability it gives us to better understand, decide with greater confidence and deliver with greater impact. The real leap happens when we can connect data, context, domain knowledge and engineering into a new way of working. Preparing our teams for this future means far more than teaching tools: it means developing the ability to manage hybrid teams, ensure compliance, protect quality and make critical decisions in a context where humans and intelligent systems collaborate in an increasingly integrated way. This is the space where Celfocus intends to lead, using technology to amplify our expertise and create sustainable, measurable and relevant value for our clients.”
