Celfocus wins four Catalyst Awards at DTW24 - Ignite!
Celfocus has secured four prestigious Catalyst Awards at the DTW24 – Ignite event, held at the Bella Center in Copenhagen. Recognised for their innovation and collaboration, Celfocus's projects tackled critical industry challenges, demonstrating cutting-edge solutions.


The Catalyst Awards, hosted by TM Forum, honour significant achievements in industry innovation, collaboration, and growth through proof-of-concept. This year, the awards spotlighted the collaborative efforts of 50 Catalyst teams addressing the critical challenges faced by communications service providers and their technology partners.

From the eight Open Innovation Awards presented, Celfocus distinguished itself by winning four:

The Autonomous Networks Hyperloops Catalyst, now in its fifth phase, is advancing a disaster-handling Virtual Command Center (VCC). The VCC aims to enhance operational efficiency and situational awareness for emergency services by integrating AI, autonomous networks (AN), and digital twins (DT). It offers a real-time comprehensive view of operations and infrastructure, facilitating efficient emergency responses. There were several companies involved in this catalyst project's success: Celfocus, Antel-Uruguay, Chunghwa Telecom Company LTD, Cognizant Technology Solutions, ESRI, Futurewei Technologies, Inc., Infosim GmbH & Co. KG, Intersec, MTN South Africa, NTT Group, Orange, Telecom Italia SpA, UBiqube and Verizon Communications.

Addressing the convergence of 5G and satellite communication networks, the SATCOM + 5G Anywhere Catalyst proposes integrating Telco and SATCOM CFSs into a unified core commerce layer. It aims to meet the increasing demand for resilient and reliable connectivity services through TM Forum's Connectivity as a Service (CaaS) paradigm. The project included combined efforts from Celfocus, Airbus, alvatross, Amartus, Bell Canada, BolgiaTen Limited, BT Group plc, Concertia Technologies Inc, Kratos, LPTIC, Makman Technology Consulting, Oneweb, Oracle Corporation, SES Astra S.A. and Telesat LEO Inc.
