Celfocus Egypt Delivery Centre hosts its first summer internship program

|---Module:text|Size:Small---| Over the course of six weeks, our Cairo office welcomed a group of talented university students and recent graduates, giving them the opportunity to step into the world of software engineering and experience what it means to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Across 196 hours of learning, 29 sessions, and 64 hours of project shadowing in Backend, Frontend, DevOps, Testing, and Integration, interns took part in an intensive and hands-on journey. The program combined technical upskilling, covering Spring/REST, Git, unit testing, Java, databases, frontend development, and DevOps, with exposure to real engineering practices such as Agile ways of working, clean code, and system integration.

Beyond technology, we also emphasized professional growth, with sessions on personal branding, presentation skills, time management, and interview preparation, equipping participants with tools for their future careers.

What truly stood out was the interns’ enthusiasm and growth throughout the program. They not only gained knowledge but also embraced the Celfocus culture of collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous learning.

As I look back on EDC’s first Summer Internship Program, I couldn’t be prouder of this initiative. It was not only about training students but also about giving back to the community and creating real opportunities for young people to explore their potential. This new generation brings with it remarkable energy, creativity, and fresh perspectives that will add great value to our industry. Personally, I found myself learning from them as well their curiosity, openness, and way of thinking reminded me how important it is to continuously evolve. This program was a meaningful step forward, not only for our interns but also for us as a team. I am confident that the passion and talent we witnessed will help shape the future of technology, and I look forward to seeing the impact these young leaders will create in the years ahead."
