Major BSS overhaul – highlighted by Project Directors Henrique Cravo and Paulo Ruivo
The Turkish mobile market is one of the most dynamic in the region. According to Paulo Ruivo, “The market is very demanding in terms of launching new services, and responding quickly to the competition. The old system, being billing-centric, was not conductive to the competitive landscape and Vodafone Turkey understood that to launch new products and services, and maintain customer satisfaction, it had to change to a new, customer-centric stack.”
Henrique Cravo added that “The old, bespoke BSS was tailor-made, so enabling and integrating new, complex software applications was tough work. The solution gives Vodafone Turkey the ability to scale not only in terms of customers, but also in terms of the different business scenarios they want to target. To pursue fixed-lined growth, for example, required a revamp on the technology and this stack makes VfT ready to scale and grow.”
